Designing a brand identity for the Food, I Love You restaurant, which was once the old prison kitchen at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg.

Food, I Love You is more than just a restaurant, it is a space that emphasises shared experiences and storytelling. Chef and founder, Mpho Phalane, wants people who enter her space to feel comfortable, to feel seen and see others. Playing on the concept of Food, I Love You being a collection of love letters left behind by everyone that visits, we created a relatable, simple and comforting brand identity.

A fuss-free yet comforting identity was created to reflect the restaurant space and experiences people will create.
